Association, Innovation & Management
At AIM we share the goal of our partners—to improve human, animal, and environmental health through the advancement of science. Our mission is to help scientific societies exceed their objectives by providing focused, strategic planning, well-crafted execution, and precise measurement of results.
AIM Partnership: The Academy of Toxicological Sciences
The mission of ATS is to establish a means by which practicing toxicologists are certified based on education, professional experience, demonstrated achievement, proven ability and scientific expertise.
AIM Partnership: American College of Toxicology
The ACT mission is to educate, lead, and serve professionals in toxicology and related disciplines by promoting the exchange of information and perspectives on applied toxicology and safety assessment.
AIM Partnership: The Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society
The EMGS mission is to foster scientific research and education on the causes and mechanistic bases of DNA damage and repair, mutagenesis, heritable effects, epigenetic alterations in genome function, and their relevance to disease, and to promote the application and communication of this knowledge to genetic toxicology testing, risk assessment, and regulatory policy-making to protect human health and the environment.
AIM Partnership: The International Union of Toxicology
The mission of IUTOX is to improve human health through the science and practice of toxicology world-wide.
AIM Partnership: The Safety Pharmacology Society
Safety Pharmacology Society is a nonprofit organization that promotes knowledge, development, application, and training in Safety Pharmacology—a distinct scientific discipline that integrates the best practices of pharmacology, physiology and toxicology.
AIM Partnership: The Society of Toxicologic Pathology
The STP is dedicated to the integration of toxicologic pathology into hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk communication regarding human and animal exposure to potentially toxic substances. The STP provides expert guidance to legislative and regulatory decision makers regarding toxicologic pathology data and human or animal health.
AIM Partnership: The Society of Toxicology
The Society of Toxicology (SOT) is a professional and scholarly organization of scientists from academic institutions, government, and industry representing the great variety of scientists who practice toxicology in the U.S. and abroad.
AIM Partnership: The Teratology Society
The mission of The Teratology Society is to promote research and the exchange of ideas and research results that reveal the causes, improve the diagnosis and treatment, and prevent the occurrence of abnormal development and birth defects; communicate that information; and to provide education on the prevention of birth defects.
AIM Partnership: The Toxicology Forum
The mission of The Toxicology Forum is to encourage open dialogue on human health and environmental issues that drive public concerns, academic involvement, industry action, and regulatory decision making.
